On April 14, 2015 Inga Upmace – Chairman of the Board and Anda Karnite – Board member of the NGO “Baltic HIV Association” participated in the discussion “Investment in the HIV treatment – example of the effective management”, organized by Latvian Medical Association.

Inga Upmace spoke on the topic “Public benefits of early diagnosis of HIV infection and HIV patients appropriate treatment.”
Participants of the discussion included the Ministry of Health, experts of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control of Latvia, representatives from clinics, as well as academics.
Aim of discussion – to find solutions and suggestions on early diagnoses of HIV and more effective treatment.
Discussion was led by Peteris Apinis – President of Latvian Medical Association.
